Liebe E-tropolis Familie,
leider mussten wir eure Geduld dieses Mal mehr als geplant strapazieren – dafür ein großes SORRY! Hintergrund ist, dass zum einen die genaue Definition von Großveranstaltungen länger als erhofft auf sich warten ließ. Zum anderen gab es Probleme einen neuen Ersatztermin zu finden, an welchem sowohl alle Hallen der Turbinenhalle verfügbar sind, als auch der Großteil der beteiligten Bands.
Heute können wir nun endlich den neuen Termin für das E-tropolis Festival verkünden: wir holen die Sause nach am Saturday, 13.11.2021.
Bis auf Grendel und Diorama – die ihre Verfügbarkeit noch klären müssen – haben auch schon alle anderen Bands des 2020er Line-Ups diesen neuen Termin bestätigt. Bereits gekaufte Tickets für das E-tropolis Festival 2020 behalten ihre Gültigkeit für den 13.11.2021. Wir – sowie alle Bands und Dienstleister des Festivals – würden uns sehr freuen, wenn ihr eure Tickets für den neuen Termin behaltet. Falls ihr den neuen Festivaltermin nicht wahrnehmen könnt, könnt ihr euch ab dem 01.06. per E-mail an die Adresse tickets@etropolis-festival.de wenden. Bis zum 15. Juni 2020 können auch noch Tickets für den neuen Termin in unserem Amphi Ticketshop unter: https://www.amphi-shop.de zum aktuellen Preis erworben werden. Ab dem 16. Juni 2020 erhöht sich der Ticketpreis für das Restkontingent um 6,00 Euro pro Ticket.

X. E-TROPOLIS FESTIVAL TURBINENHALLE OBERHAUSEN -PRESS RELEASE-
NEW DATE: E-TROPOLIS FESTIVAL POSTPONED TO Saturday, 13.11.2021.
Dear E-tropolis Family,
Unfortunately we had to strain your patience a little longer than expected – therefore we send you a big SORRY! One of the reasons it took this long was the exact definition of what a major event actually is, which kept us waiting much longer than we hoped for. The other difficulty was to settle a new date that has all areas of the Turbinenhalle available as well as the majority of the participating bands.
Today we are happy to finally announce the new date for the E-tropolis Festival: we will catch up on our postponed jamboree on Saturday, 13.11.2021.
With the exception of Grendel and Diorama – who still have to check their availability – all other bands of the 2020 line-up have already confirmed their appearance for the new date. Of course all purchased E-tropolis Festival 2020 tickets remain valid for 13.11.2021. We – as well as all bands and service providers of the festival – would be very grateful, if you hold onto your tickets for the new date. If you are unable to visit the festival at the new date, you can contact us via tickets@etropolis-festival.de from 01.06.2020 onward.
Until 15. June 2020 you can still buy tickets to the new date for the regular price. Just visit our Amphi Ticketshop at https://www.amphi-shop.de. From 16. June 2020 the price for the remaining ticket contingent will increase by 6,00 Euro per ticket.

E-TROPOLIS FESTIVAL 2020/21 – LATEST INFORMATION BEFORE THE FESTIVAL
Loving the E-tropolis family,
Before the festival starts, we want to point you out some general organizational topics about the E-tropolis Festival:
The E-tropolis Festival will take place on November 13, 2021 in the Turbinen Hall Oberhausen. On Friday 11/12 , in addition, expect the official pre-party with Hocicos Erk Aicrag, Vasi Vallis from Frozen Plasma and MSTH, which you can visit for free with your festival ticket (without festival ticket 10,00 € per person – only on Friday a n available at the box office).
In the turbine hall, there is a value bond system (among other things for the sale of food and drinks). The bonstand is located right in the foyer. 1 Good = €1.00
The Met stand and parts of the food stands will be on site especially for the E-tropolis Festival. You can pay with cash at the places concerned. Please remove the payment in question from the price increase at the booth!
WARDROBE / SLIDE RACKET
Instead of a classic wardrobe, there are nearly 3000 lockers available for you in the Turbinen Halle. Pro locker is charged a one-time fee of 3 wertbons (3.00 €) and a keychain of 5.00 € (in bar), which will be refunded upon returning the locker key. You regularly receive valuables from the bonds. You can uncover the keychain right at the counter of the wardrobe.
PARKING LOT
There are plenty of parking spaces available right on the premises of the turbine hall. The parking fee is €3.00 per vehicle and will be paid on the spot at the parkingweiser. Pre party on Friday 11/12 , is exempt from parking fee. Parking is free until Saturday morning.
SEPARATE PARKING & CARRIER ONLY
We set up a separate parking and entrance for wheelchair riders. Please use the reserved disabled parking spaces at the STEFFY discotheque if needed. Give this the address to “Mülheimer Street 22”. The drive to STEFFY parking lot is marked from there. The separate entrance for wheelchair riders is located at Turbin Hall 3 (dealer hall / ramp at McFit). A security officer at the door is happy to help you here and will then call a emergency service officer to perform the 3G check. This is how you are a little more flexible than when traveling through the main entrance.
LET’S CHECK IT OUT
In the interest of your safety, our security will carry out pocket checks as well as body checks. You can help speed up entry by NOT including the following items:
Guns, gun traps, stimulus, pocket knives, drugs, anti-constitution symbols (badges, stitches, etc. ) Flags/flags, flyers/posters, folding chairs/camping hooligans, deospray/hairspray, recorders, glasses/bottles, stock screens, food and drinks of all kinds.
PREVENTIVE LOSS OF THE EVENT HALL
When entering the event hall, your festival ticket will be evaluated by the entrance staff. From 16:00 a temporary leaving the hall is possible. To re-entry, you need an exit ribbon, which you can also receive from the security at the exit starting at 16:00!
Please be careful at the moment when offering second hand tickets. In addition to the often usual local street traders, especially on Facebook, there are currently a lot of fake offers, who sell you 3 or 4 cards to send you a direct message and want to slap you. Unfortunately, you won’t get fake tickets (if you get any at all) we don’t get tickets!

E-TROPOLIS FESTIVAL 2020/21 – FINAL INFO BEFORE THE FESTIVAL
Dear E-tropolis Fans,
with only a few days left until the E-tropolis Festival is getting started, we would like to bring a couple of organisational matters upfront for better orientation:
On 13.11.2021 E-tropolis Festival returns to Turbinenhalle Oberhausen. A little earlier, Friday night, 12.11., the official pre-party at Turbinenhalle 2 sets the festivaltrain in motion, featuring Hocico’s Erk Aicrag, Vasis Vallis of Frozen Plasma and MSTH. The pre-party is free for all attendants with an E-tropolis Festival ticket (without a festival ticket admission is 10,00 € each – only available at the venue’s box-office).
Gastronomy at the Turbinenhalle is handled by a voucher system. Vouchers can be purchased at the voucher station inside the foyer. 1 voucher = 1 €!
The mead stall and some of the food stalls, are particularly booked for the E-tropolis Festival. Therefore, they can’t participate in the voucher system and will take cash instead. The payment method is being displayed at each stall/bar.
WARDROBE / LOCKERS
Instead of a traditional wardrobe, the Turbinenhalle provides almost 3000 lockers for individual storage. You can rent a locker all day for 3 vouchers (3,00 €) plus a 5,00 € pledge (in cash) for the key. The pledge will be refunded when you return the locker-key. Vouchers are available at the voucher station in the foyer. All keys and pledges are being exchanged directly at the wardrobe counter.
PARKING
Sufficient parking space will be available directly at the Turbinenhalle. The owner of the venue raises a parking fee of 3,00 € per vehicle. The fee is being paid directly to the parking stewards on site. For the pre-party on Friday, 12.11., the parking spaces will be free of charge. The fee will only be charged on Saturday for the festival itself.
DEDICATED PARKING SPACE & ENTRANCE ONLY FOR PEOPLE WITH WHEELCHAIR
For wheelchair users we provide separate parking spaces and a special entrance. Please use the specially reserved parking spaces for disabled persons at the discotheque STEFFY. To reach your destination head for „Mülheimer Straße 22“. From there just follow the signs leading to STEFFY club. The entrance for disabled persons is closeby at Turbinenhalle 3 (ramp at McFit). The security at the door will assist you and will also call in a paramedic to perform the 3G check. At this special entrance you will get in more effortlessly than at the main entrance.
SECURITY CHECK
On behalf of your security our security staff will make bag checks as well as body checks. We ask for your kind understanding that this might lead to waiting times at the entry. You can help to reduce these waiting times by NOT carrying the following items with yourself:
When entering the venue for the first time, the security personnel validates your ticket. After 4:00 pm it is also possible to leave the hall and gain re-admission at a later time. To get back in, you need an exit-wristband, which you can obtain from the security at the exit gate (after 4:00 pm). Make sure to collect it BEFORE you walk outside. Otherwise you won’t get back in.
Please be careful with second hand ticket offers. In addition to the often usual street vendors on site, there are currently a lot of fake offers circulating online, especially on Facebook, who want to sell you 3 or 4 tickets with the request to write a direct message and thus rip you off. Fake tickets (if you receive any at all) will unfortunately not be admitted!
