AMPHI FESTIVAL 2022 – DAS LINE-UP STEHT!
Liebe Amphi Familie,
bevor es heute ans Eingemachte geht, müssen wir euch mal kurz etwas sagen:
IHR SEID ECHT DER HAMMER!!!
Wir danken euch für die vielen positiven Reaktionen, aufmunternden Worte und die Energie, die ihr uns damit gesendet habt. Die Verlegung des Amphi Festivals von diesem Jahr auf den 23. & 24.07.2022 ist uns alles andere als leichtgefallen und wir sind froh, mit euch eine so tolle Community hinter uns zu wissen – die Beste, die wir uns vorstellen können!
Wie versprochen soll es heute nun um das Line-up für 2022 gehen. Erneut haben wir uns voll ins Zeug gelegt, um das aktuelle Line-up (2020/2021) für das kommende Jahr zu erhalten. In den allermeisten Fällen hat das auch wieder geklappt.
Aus terminlichen Gründen ließ es sich nicht vermeiden, dass mit OOMPH! und SCARLET DORN dieses Mal leider doch zwei Acts absagen mussten. Jedoch dürfen wir euch stattdessen MONO INC. und ERDLING als schlagkräftigen Ersatz ankündigen, die ihre Kolleg*innen 2022 würdig vertreten werden.
Das Amphi 2022 geht also mit folgendem Programm an den Start:

Amphi Festival 2022 – Autograph Sessions: Next we are happy to announce the schedule of the autograph sessions on 23rd & 24th July.
This time MONO INC., AESTHETIC PERFECTION, MESH, LETZTE INSTANZ, NACHTBLUT, SONO and many others will participate. You can meet them at the autograph stall on the festival area during the given times.

AMPHI FESTIVAL 2022 – THE LINE-UP STANDS!
Dear Amphi Family,
before we get into the nitty-gritty we’d like to express our sincere gratitude for a little moment first:
YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!!!
Thank you for the incredible amount of positive responses, heartening words and all the positive energy you sent us. The decision to postpone the Amphi Festival from this year to 23. & 24.07.2022 was far from an easy one and we feel absolutely humbled to have such a great community supporting us – actually the best we could ever imagine!
As promised, today’s announcement deals about the line-up for 2022. Again we’ve put our shoulders to the wheel, to preserve the current (2020/2021) line-up for next year. In the vast majority of the cases we succeed again.
Only with OOMPH! and SCARLET DORN we encountered two bands this time, for whom scheduling reasons prevented them from moving with us, so they ultimately had to cancel their participation. In return we are excited to announce two very powerful replacements for 2022. MONO INC. and ERDLING will step in for their fellow colleagues in worthy manner.
With all that settled, Amphi will move into 2022 with the following full line-up:

CALL THE SHIP TO PORT at MS RheinEnergie continues with its original line-up, featuring FORCED TO MODE, WELLE: ERDBALL and S.P.O.C.K and the OFFICAL AMPHI-PRE-PARTY on Friday night at the Theater remains unaltered, too, including the DJs RONAN HARRIS, SVEN FRIEDRICH, ELVIS and MSTH!
All in all good news! And the coolest thing: if you already own your ticket(s) for 2020 or 2021, they automatically remain valid without any further ado!

Already purchased tickets for the Amphi Festival 2020 and 2021 keep their validity for 2022!

Call The Ship To Port – NEW DATE for 22.07.2022!

Built in 1928 the area for cultural programs and recreation today offers on its 30.000 m² with its open-air-terrain and the lately constructed beach club, the ‘Theater am Tanzbrunnen’ and the adjacent rhine terraces a large variety of possibilities for events, single or in combination with others. This makes the ‘Tanzbrunnen Köln’ one of the most favourite event locations in Europe.

♦♦♦ The water level of the Rhine is currently so low that the MS RheinEnergie can’t dock at Kennedy-Ufer near the Tanzbrunnen as planned.
Currently there are also traffic obstructions due to ongoing construction work at the DEUTZER BRÜCKE. From Köln-Deutz in the direction to the old town, the bridge is currently blocked for vehicles. If necessary, please use the SEVERINSBRÜCKE or the ZOOBRÜCKE to get to the old town by car.

BOARDING / DEPARTURE
Please take sufficient time for the journey and target to be at the boarding bridge Altstadtufer “Landebrücke 1” (between “Deutzer Brücke” & “Pegeluhr”) not later than 7:00 pm. The MS RheinEnergie will leave at 8:15 pm sharp. Once the ship left, there will be no further opportunity to get on board. The ship can’t wait for belated arrivals. In case you missed the departure, there will be no refund of the ticket price.
The Amphi Festival opening event CALL THE SHIP TO PORT is a phenomenon! Brought to life first in 2013, we return to the MS RHEINENERGIE again in 2020 for another exclusive extravaganza, when the epic Rhine panorama unites with massive beats, forming a symphony of images, sounds and emotions.
If for the rhythm of the music or the sundown on deck – CALL THE SHIP TO PORT is a special experience, sharing its fascination with anyone who once stepped aboard the unique European event catamaran.
In good tradition CALL THE SHIP TO PORT will open the Amphi Festival on Friday, 22.07.2022, with an impressive line-up, exclusively playing aboard the MS RHEINENERGIE.
