Jubilation announces further exciting names to the line-up of their Brockwell Park Jubilee bank holiday extravaganza on Thursday 2nd June. New additions announced today include Squeeze, Mystery Jets, Jordan Stephens, and Tippa Irie, who join the already stellar line-up of names including Madness, Supergrass, Mike Skinner, Norman Jay MBE, and many more. Tickets for this one-off event are on sale now.

Jubilation – an unmissable family day out to celebrate the Jubilee bank holiday – will showcase an array of incredible live acts and DJs across three stages alongside a tasty selection of street food and bars. Also on offer will be a ‘Mini Mad Family Area’, making this the perfect way to celebrate your big day off with all the family! 2022 will see Jumpin’ Jack Frost DJ’ing at the Big Fish Little Fish family rave up, and they’ll also be a collection of village fete games such as the egg and spoon and sack race.

Fronting today’s line-up announcement is British rock and new wave pioneers, Squeeze. Boasting a staggering 15 studio albums to their name, the much-loved London-based band are celebrating a 50+ year career after first emerging to critical acclaim in the 70s with their self-titled debut album, closely followed-up by the much-loved record, ‘Cool For Cats’. Since then, Squeeze have gone on to become a British institution, making them a perfect addition to the Jubilee celebrations. Festival-goers can expect to hear fan favourites ‘Tempted’, ‘Up The Junction’, ‘Cool For Cats’, and so much more when the band takes to the stage for this one-off special event.

Also announced today are Mystery Jets, the noughties indie-rock évocateurs who shot to fame following the release of their debut album, ‘Making Dens’, in 2006 and have gone on to have one of the most storied careers in indie, racking up millions of streams on Spotify for tracks like ‘Young Love’, ‘Two Doors Down’, and ‘Bubblegum’. With a vast catalogue of music to dip into, there’s plenty for the Jubilation crowd to revel in this June when the London natives take to the stage. Joining them are Rizzle Kicks co-founder Jordan Stephens, Brixton’s own reggae singer and DJ Tippa Irie, Rhoda Dakar (DJ), and Rooty Soundclash (Tayo & Frankie Tope).

Speaking of the additions to the line-up, Suggs says “I’m thrilled to be able to announce our old mates Squeeze are joining us at Jubilation after our very successful Christmas tour with them. Brilliant band!”
