Antania, the California-based duo has just announced the release of their debut album, Lividity; an album that mixes a “doom bass” sound with acid metal .Lividity is a slow, rhythmic bass-heavy release from Antania.
The songs on Lividity were written right from true crime stories, Each song represents a true story of murder and violence as the Antania duo find their inspiration from real events.
Antania is a doom/bass project from Joshua Tree, CA. With a gripping aesthetic paying homage to the “dark side of life” with a strong live show. Antania‘s brutal “Doom Bass” style incorporates elements of electronica, doom metal and industrial.
“Dr. Luna”, the duo’s demented musical maestro, creates Doom/Bass solely with synthesizers and guitar distortion pedals by wrapping distortion around sub-bass. Frontwoman Kali Mortem, army veteran, artist featured in the book by Jeremy Saffer “Daughters of Darkness” brings the show with brutal vocals.
